About TAAG

Better together.

APC’s Triangle Area Analytics Group (TAAG) was initially established in 2010 to address the absence of meetings for professionals within the IT analytics community. Members of the IT community, marketers, and senior leaders joined in sharing their common interest in business analytics, business intelligence, and anything data related.

It soon became apparent that these meetings were beneficial well beyond the IT industry. Today, TAAG joins professionals from a myriad of industries to share trends, data, and best practices. Participants are able to engage with a moderated panel of industry leaders as they discuss relevant topics at each meeting.

TAAG meetings are held at no cost to participants. Meetings are typically held from 7:30-10:00 AM; a complimentary breakfast is provided.

If you would like to receive email notifications of upcoming TAAG events, or if your company is interested in co-sponsoring a future meeting, please contact:

TAAG is really awesome

But Don't Just Take Our Word For It

Brian Grovenstein

Manager - Business Intelligence Development, PRA Health Sciences

I’ve been a member of TAAG for over 2 years now and attended numerous sessions. Each meeting is hosted at a different company site with a new and energetic panel. Every event takes on it’s own shape because the culture of each company is slightly different. This allows TAAG members to network with new people and listen to a diverse panel each session. Networking at TAAG events went as far as making my next career connection. Make sure to come out to the next event and give TAAG a try!

I’ve been attending TAAG events for several years now. I find them extremely enlightening and educational for a diverse audience of business, analytics and data science engineering professionals. In addition, the networking opportunities in the Analytics and Data Science fields across so many different companies are endless. I’ve connected many Analytics-focused professionals in this space to TAAG, and there really isn’t anything else like it in this area.

TAAG meetings have been a wonderful opportunity to share the successes and struggles of moving our organizations to be more data-driven. It has been nice to feel like we are not alone and to get some good ideas from folks who have made inroads and can now see the results within their organizations.

I heard about TAAG from several coworkers. The idea of collaborating and networking with other professionals interested in analytics was very intriguing. I am so thankful for each of the times I’ve been able to attend these events. I always prioritize and look forward to the great content, networking, and learning about what types of analytical projects others are working on. I am a huge fan!
